I didn’t run into any issues with the upgrade and things seem pretty stable.

I can’t wait to use 3.0 for my next web project. The community really did a great job making WordPress easier to use as a CMS.

I’ve been using the developer version of Chrome on my Mac for about a month now and I love the simplicity of adding new extensions. Chrome doesn’t offer anywhere near the number of extensions (add-ons) that Firefox does, but they have most of the good ones. I am currently using  AdThwart, Chromed Bird and One Number.

I have been using Chax for a few months now to add additional functionality to iChat. A few things that I love about Chax is that it combines all of your iChat contact lists into one master contact list and supports Growl notifications. This is an Alpha release for people running Snow Leopard so there are probably a few bugs.

Android users don’t have to feel like second class citizens anymore! doubleTwist created a slick alternative to iTunes that supports hundreds of phones including Android phones like the myTouch and G1. The interface looks strikingly similar to iTunes’ and uses Amazon MP3 to purchase songs so, you’ll spend less money to buy your music. My biggest complaint for Android phones was how annoying it was to add media, doubleTwist makes it a snap. The app automatically found my device when I plugged it into my computer and pulled up my existing music from both the phone and iTunes.

Firefox 3.5 offers huge performance increases over previous versions and much lower memory usage. I highly recommend you upgrade to version 3.5 tomorrow when the final release is available. If you can’t wait until then and want to join me in using RC3, you can grab it from Firefox’s website.
